| Bio: | Character Information Character Name: Erzsébet Traistaru. Race/Ethnicity: Romanian. Age: 28. Date of Birth: June 26th 2125. Sex: Female. Sexual Orientation: Bi without any real interest in intimate relations. Basic Personality: Suspicious of new people, normally nice – not overly rude or extremely nice, just plain, normally nice. She's a calm and level-headed person most of the time but she does have one hell of a temper even though it takes quite a lot to get her to snap, she is also quite perceptive. She is eager for more knowledge about the virus and the mutants. She is something of a workaholic, doesn't trust people easily and has a normal sense of humor but has never been and will never be one of the wittiest persons there is. Motivations: Wants to be able to wake up without worrying about where she is. She also wants to find the origin to the virus. Physical description: 165 cm, normal weight (about 63 kg), not well-trained or trained at all – has the type of build you get when not working out at all. Has medium length dark brown hair and brown eyes. Has light skin. Has a couple of scars, but nothing big except for one on her left leg that covers the shank and one on her upper right arm, going from the shoulder down to the crook of the arm. No tattoos or piercings. Her looks shows that she has worried too much through the years – she tend to look older than her years. Played By: Charlotte Gainsbourg Mutations: None. Special abilities: Has an interest in the older type of medical methods and such. Examines everything she gets her hands on concerning mutants and the virus. Flaws/Weaknesses: Slight case of obsessive-compulsive disorder (she runs to the window every single morning to see where she is). Has more or less an obsession with the mutants and everything concerning them. The scar on her left leg was caused by her breaking that leg during one of the times she got kidnapped and therefore she's got a slight limp, which gets worse the more tired she is; it also causes her to have trouble running long distances and putting too much weight on that leg. Background: Erzsébet is born and raised in Babylon by Mária and László Traistaru. Her parents both worked at a laboratory where they tried to find a cure to the mutations; her mother handled the tests and her father did experiments on mutants in order to find a way to do something about the gene causing the mutations. This caused the pro-mutants to repeatedly kidnap the young Erzsébet in order to get her parents to stop with the experiments. It happened many times and because of that she never knew where she would wake up; this has caused her to develop a slight case of OCD and makes her run to her window every single morning to ask the first person she sees where she is. It has also made her develop hatred, but mostly fear, for mutants. This has its cause in one of the kidnappings where the young girl watched one of her kidnappers mutate right in front of her eyes; the last thing she remembers is screaming her lungs out, the next thing she knew she was back in Babylon, safe and sound. She never knew how she got there, but the other kidnappers had probably gotten frightened too, grabbed the child and fled back to the Metropolis. Her mother died in an attack while Erzsébet were still a child, making her grow up with only her father, who died in a heart attack when she was 20. Erzsébet started out as a pharmacist but when her workplace didn't have the money to keep all of their employees she volunteered to be the one to leave. She has known Nicole Harrison for two years and while earlier having joked about it, and Erzsébet helping her friend out once in a while when needed, Nicole decided to take it one step further and hired her friend as a waitress - although Erzsébet helps out with whatever is needed. As mentioned before, she got to know Nicole two years ago. The two women had both joined an anti-mutant group and with Nicole babbling non-stop, while Erzsébet listened and laughed a lot, they one day found themselves to be friends and have since then gotten along great and she considers Nicole as her best friend. She is a passive part of the Anti-mutant movement. Occupation: Former pharmacist, is now a waitress/factotum at Nicole's café.
